Back in 1980, the founder Dave Cooper at the age of 16 started a landscaping business under the name of D.C. Landscaping, Inc. They serviced all of DuPage County, both residential and local businesses, with full landscape services and snow removal.

In 1995, Dave purchased his first semi-tractor and trailer with the vision of being able to expand his company into something greater. By 2002, Dave was taking on the task of managing 38 semi-tractors, 82 trailers, and 45 full-time employees. He was in charge of one of the largest sand, gravel, and topsoil hauling companies in the Chicagoland area, along with his growing landscaping and snow removal business.
