Award Turf Fertilizer with Merit contains the widely popular and effective systemic insecticide imidacloprid. The low use rate of Merit provides high efficacy on grubs and grub species while maintaining a low risk to non-target pests.

Award Turf Fertilizer with Merit can be applied on all types of turf grasses—including golf courses. Once applied, the chemical is readily taken up by turf roots and distributed throughout the plant. When turf-feeding insects consume the roots of these plants, the chemical attacks the central nervous system of the chewing insect causing paralysis and death. Due to the residual control of this chemical, application can be made proceeding or during the egg laying period. Optimum control is made prior to egg hatch.
